The National System for Cybercrime Fighting

Romanian National Computer ​​Security Incident Response Team CERT-RO held on June 19, 2014, a special event in which it was presented, analyzed and discussed the set of public policy proposals to combat the cybercrime phenomenon and to disseminate the results obtained in the project “The national system for cyber crime fighting” SMIS Code 37595.

Romanian National Computer ​​Security Incident Response Team CERT-RO proposes that the implementation of the “The national system for cyber crime fighting” SMIS Code 37595, financed by the European Social Fund 2007-2013, to achieve an appropriate framework in order to increase the capacity of public policy formulation and implementation of better strategic planning by strengthening partnerships at both inter-institutional level and between public institutions and representatives of other fields interested in combating cybercrime phenomenon.

Coordinators members of experts teams designated for this project, representatives of the decision-making institutions in the project, experts in the field of IT and cybersecurity, representatives from the private, public and educational field participated at this event in order to disseminate and to optimize results achieved in the activity of developing strategies, laws and procedures, consistent and modern, easily applicable to all participants in online traffic. Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance RAISA was present at the event by Mr. Ioan-Cosmin MIHAI – RAISA Vice President and Assistant Professor at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Police Academy.
