Operational Aspects of European Police Cooperation
CEPOL – European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training organized the fifth module of The European Joint Master Programme (EJMP) – “Operational Aspects of European Police Cooperation” at Sofia, Bulgaria, on December 05-09, 2016. I attended this EJMP module as representative of “A.I. Cuza” Police Academy.
The European Joint Master Programme provides science based competences in a European community of practice. It is the first EU academic programme which aims to address common challenges of police cooperation in the frame of internal security. The European Joint Master Programme is organised and implemented by a Consortium consisting of Partners appointed by CEPOL National Contact Points and Law Enforcement / Public Universities entitled to deliver a Master course according to the Bologna rules in the EU Member States.
The contents of this module focus on operational aspects of the legal provisions on police cross- border cooperation in the EU, applying and implementing specific EU instruments for cross-border policing, and operational and tactical multi-agency cooperation in a complex international context.
