eLearning and Software for Education Conference

The 10th eLearning and Software for Education Conference – eLSE 2014 – organized by the Romanian Advanced Distributed Learning Association was held at National Military Circle, in Bucharest, April 24th – 25th, 2014. The conference is indexed in ISI Web of Science, ProQuest, EBSCO Host and Central and Eastern European Online Library.

The purpose of the annual international scientific conference on “eLearning and software for education” was to enable the academia, research and corporate entities to boost the potential of the technology enhanced learning environments, by providing a forum for exchange of ideas, research outcomes, business case and technical achievements.

The central theme of eLSE 2014 was “Let’s build the future through learning innovation!”. The conference was focused on the following panels:

  • Innovative learning: technology-enhanced approaches and strategies .
  • Technological innovations in e-learning.
  • Management, quality assurance and assessment of e-learning systems.
  • Best Practices supporting education and training.
  • Ubiquitous & Immersive learning.
  • Games based learning.
  • Cultural dimensions of e-learning.

RAISA – Romanian Association for Information Security Assurance was represented to this conference by assistant professor Ioan-Cosmin MIHAI – Vice President of RAISA, with the paper “A Method to Improve the Survivability of E-learning Systems” in the section “Management, quality assurance and assessment of e-learning systems”. The paper was made in the research project “Implementation of IT&C Technologies in On-line Education System”, project supported by RAISA.
